Important Comments: This antibody is expected to recognise isoform 3 (NP_001614.3) only. Immunogen Peptide with sequence C-NKQFLDDPKYSSDED, from the internal region of the protein sequence according to NP_001614.3. Purification + Storage Purified from goat serum by ammonium sulphate precipitation followed by antigen affinity chromatography using the immunizing peptide.
Supplied at 0.5 mg/ml in Tris saline, 0.02% sodium azide, pH7.3 with 0.5% bovine serum albumin.
Aliquot and store at -20°C. Minimize freezing and thawing.Applications TestedPeptide ELISA: antibody detection limit dilution 1:32,000. Western Blot: Approx 17kDa band observed in Human Peripheral Blood Mononucleocyte lysates (calculated MW of 16.7kDa according to NP_001614.3). Recommended concentration: 1-3µg/ml. Additional bands of unknown identity were also consistently observed at 35kDa and 110kDa. These bands were successfully blocked by incubation with the immunising peptide.
