To order the immunizing peptide for blocking experiments please see Peptide Info.Target ProteinPrincipal Names: DCLRE1A; DNA cross-link repair 1A (PSO2 homolog, S. cerevisiae); HGNC:17660; KIAA0086; PSO2; SNM1 ; DNA-crosslink repair gene SNM1 Official Symbol: DCLRE1A Accession Number(s): NP_055696.2 Human GeneID(s): 9937 Immunogen Peptide with sequence PSPNQKRSSQCKRK, from the internal region of the protein sequence according to NP_055696.2. Purification + Storage Purified from goat serum by ammonium sulphate precipitation followed by antigen affinity chromatography using the immunizing peptide. Supplied at 0.5 mg/ml in Tris saline, 0.02% sodium azide, pH7.3 with 0.5% bovine serum albumin. Aliquot and store at -20°C. Minimize freezing and thawing.Applications TestedPeptide ELISA: antibody detection limit dilution 1:8,000. Western Blot: Preliminary experiments gave an approx 26kDa band in human duodenum lysates after 1µg/ml antibody staining. Please note that currently we cannot find an explanation in the literature for the band we observe given the calculated size of 117kDa according to NP_055696.2. The 26kDa band was successfully blocked by incubation with the immunizing peptide. We would appreciate any feedback from people in the field - have any results been reported with other antibodies/lysates? Have any further splice variants/modified forms been reported?

These antibodies are affinity purified using their peptide immunogen and are known to give low background staining in a western blot (see Application Notes below). However no additional claims are made for their ability to recognise native protein in any application. |
