Immunogen Peptide with sequence C-IVMAPSSQSQPSGS, from the C Terminus of the protein sequence according to NP_001871.2. Purification + Storage Purified from goat serum by ammonium sulphate precipitation followed by antigen affinity chromatography using the immunizing peptide.

Western Blot: experiments gave bands at approx 55kDa and 30kDa in lysates of Human Placenta and of cell line HeLa after 0.5µg/ml antibody staining. These bands correspond to earlier findings in literature with different antibodies (Bailey et al , J Clin Endocrinol Metab. 2002 Apr;87(4):1717-28.; PMID: 11932306). This protein has a calculated MW of 54.5kDa according to NP_001871.2. Recommended concentration: 0.5-1.5µg/ml.
